'Happy Oz Day All'

So nice to have the extra day off today.

This morning MsMun mentioned that she would like a new cabinet in the laundry above the washing machine and trough. I thought well today is as good as any to build it so it was a trip down to Bunnings to pick up the materials after a measure up and a quick shop drawing.

Spent most of the afternoon building it, fitting the soft close door hinges and some aluminium angle trims to the bottom of the door to act as handles. Just need a final sand after the wood filler is dry, then MsMun can paint it, arrange for mirrors so that I can fix them to the face of the doors and then it just need to be hung on the wall.

Job done.

A nice way to spend Australia day and achieving something at the end of it.

These are the chives we have growing in the veggie patch out in the back garden. Didn't really have a chance to get out much today, so it's a very local blip.
