Are you looking at me?

No inspiration and little time so I have settled for a shot of one of the species which refused to show up for my bird count yesterday.

The cock Pheasant is a regular visitor to the garden.  We also get a number of females but not often at the same time as the male.  Eight is the record at one time.  The females show greater ingenuity than the male.  They are prepared to stand on the roof of the bird table and stretch across to try to take food from the hanging feeders, or perch on the arms used for hanging the feeders and try to reach the seed.
