A Cruel World

I wasn't there but I always have sympathy for the losers of the play-off finals as it is such a tease to be given another bite at the cherry following a season that failed to bear fruit (ok enough cliches).

I have been on the down-side of this deal on previous occasions and also on the winning side. I don't approve of the play-offs but accept that they keep the season going for more teams.

Anyway, congratulations to West Ham United and commisertions to Blackpool. This was the moment that the winning goal went in and consigned Blackpool to another season in the Championship.
