Queen Victoria and the pigeons

Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester, at lunchtime.  The pigeon had just vacated its perch on top of Victoria crown - the square is really over-run with them and  the Big Wheel totally dominates.  I was in Manchester with fellow printmaker Jan for a pre-visit to Hot Bed Press in Salford.  We begin our course on Monday morning - it will be quite an early morning journey for me as I'll probably need to catch the 7.11 train from Silkstone Common.  The studio felt like a really good space and I'm looking forward to the year ahead.
