Remember This

The days when you could travel somewhere and stop and take a proper break are becoming something of the past. Nowadays we dive out of the car and grab a sandwich or some other snack.

Little Chefs are now something of a rarity, being turned into Starbucks, Burger Kings or something else that will likely fail within months. Briefly following Heston's dalliance with the brand and the TV show following the companies attempts to relaunch it felt as though there could have been an outside chance.

I stopped at the one near Kettering today, this one had received the full refurb. I stopped for a coffee, aside from the two friendly staff no one came in for over 40 minutes. It's sad but it's difficult to see how the remaining Little Chefs can survive, hopefully they will but I fear it could be yet another brand consigned to history
