Old and New

A quiet day in the office broken up by a blip hunt at lunchtime.  I was struck by this building, all shiny and new looking on the bottom, clearly much older on top - mixed identities, mixed personalities.  I was also struck by the street, named after lovely old Queen Charlotte, consort to my favourite monarch, George III.  I imagine not many in the neighbourhood know who she was, whereas if this street name was in the New Town many of the residents might be related...

The excitement of the day was I booked flights to Japan(!) for April.  It's all becoming a bit real...
