Snowdrops

The first of our snowdrops are out now, and very welcome.

I didn't go far from the front door today, but actually I feel pretty good. I haven't needed most of the painkillers the hospital gave me, and I'll start going out again from tomorrow.


It's surprising how one gets used to changes - I have been on a fat-free diet for the last three months, including no spread on toast, just marmite or marmalade. Now I can resume a normal diet I put on modest scrape of low-fat spread on my toast, and didn't really like it. I could taste the grease on my lips afterwards! It doesn't matter, but if I find I don't like pizza any more I shall be gutted.
