Peahen

My bicentennial blip :)

No pressure then. I took B into Corsham this morning and loved this patch of moss, conveniently growing at just above eye height on a wall near the car-park. The sun was behind it, the colours beautiful and my camera and macro lens in my hand-bag. My inadvertent setting of ISO800 (inherited from a couple of indoor shots first thing) turned out to be just right, I did try a couple on lower ISOs but liked this one best. There's no post processing on this, the colours are straight from the camera.

Thank you all for your great photos, writing, comments, stars and hearts and just reading. You have no idea how much inspiration and delight you all add to my days.
