Sparrowhawk

Mr Mac heard a loud thud on the dining room window this morning. Looking out he feared the worst - maybe a concussed or dead blackbird lying in the flowerbed. Instead he saw a dazed raptor of some kind standing below the window. It quickly flew away, leaving a feathery smudge on the window as the only evidence of it's presence. Using our trusty bird book Mr Mac has identified it as a male sparrowhawk. Trust me to be at work and miss it.
