Snowdrops

Apparently if you go to a particular local loch and sit patiently in the hide for five minutes you will be rewarded by the appearance of a kingfisher. "He's always here" said a man with an impressive lens on his camera. Well we waited. (I didn't dare produce my camera as it was quite pathetic looking next to Mr Telephoto.) We waited some more. It was cold. We never did see the kingfisher but we saw the first snowdrops of the year. Not a complete disaster then :-)
