An ordinary life....

Last Day of January...

Already!  Usually January drags but this month seems to have flown.

No time for anything today, least of all photography, so a quick iPhone shot will have to do.

Busy, busy day preparing for Ele, Kenny, Agnes and Adrian coming for dinner this evening (and staying over.  Could be a late one! :-)  David is making the meal (although I made the starter - tomato and orange soup) as it's my belated birthday dinner.  The diet has been suspended for the day  and I suspect for tomorrow as I have bought orange juice, bagels, croissants, pan au chocolat, honey, jam and fruit for breakfast.   Although that's better than bacon, sausage and eggs I suppose.

Alan is in a very mellow, chilled out mood as he's spent the afternoon being massaged with aloe vera oil by Lynsey, his new (blonde and attractive) physiotherapist.  He won't let her do passive stretches of his legs as his hamstrings are really tight and he finds it very uncomfortable/painful so she though relaxing him into it would help.  It's the same with his arms and neck, the muscles are quite tight.  Anyway, the massage did the trick as she managed furtive stretches without him protesting too much.

Hopefully combining massage with passive stretching and his use of the sit to stand chair, will see a marked improvement in the tightness of the muscles at his joints.  And if not, well he's loving the massage regardless!!

Right, time to throw some makeup at my face and get ready to party.  See you on the other side :-)))
