Sow's Ear

Tried to make a silk purse, but it's not exactly what I'd envisioned. Good excuse: now we are both down with something. Mr S has an easily identifiable nasty old-fashioned cold. Me, my headache continues, paired with aching back and ribs. I don't really feel sick, I'm just miserable. Other than that, it's been a lovely warm day of sitting in the sun and listening to the garden grow.
