Field daisy

Another day and another wild flower blip! This one I picked from my lawn (that made it very wild - livid in fact). So an ultra close-up again with three tubes attached.

I think from this image I can see how the pollen is released from the yellow postules. They seem to be bursting around the perimeter, spurting some of it onto the petals and leaving a crusty broken 'pollen ball' behind.

Sorry not very botanical language, but it has been forty years since last did biology/botany!
