Pylon love

It's been a little while since I blipped a pylon, so here are two, and a bit. I always like it when the sun catches the glass bits (I'm sure there must be a technical term, but I don't know what it is). With thanks to ceridwen for teaching me to love them.

There was actually snow on top of Alaric this morning, but given the snowy blips posted by UK blipmates there didn't seem much point blipping the thin scattering. It even snowed in the village this afternoon, without settling.

Given the weather, we decided to have an outing to the cinema in Narbonne, where we saw La Famille Bélier, a predictable but feelgood film about a teenager living on a farm, whose parents and brother are all deaf; she joins a choir and is encouraged by her teacher to audition for an elite choir in Paris. It's a pity the teacher was a fan of Michel Sardou :) But there were some entertaining moments, and the young actress who played Paula was really good -- I have just discovered that she was previously a contestant on The Voice. It was nice to go out and be entertained, and just as nice to get back to a warm hearth.
