Spirit of New Zealand

From the mountain ranges
To the valleys and the plains
The spirit of New Zealand
Is sacred to our land

From our oceans to our streams
The spirit of this great nation
Will forever flow free
For we are proud of our heritage

And we know where we have been
The beauty of our nation
Is in ever plant and every tree
And our wildlife is unique
And indigenous to our land

The spirit of New Zealand
Is in our cities and our homes
And we will carry it with pride wherever we may roam

For the spirit of New Zealand
Is in our hearts and souls
And is the spirit of every one of us
Who call New Zealand home

Mono Monday challenge is 'Spirit' - a tree fern against the sky, could well be our new flag - so proud to be a New Zealander.

Early blip today as the warm nor'wester gets a hold, 29C just after noon. Daughter E moves home tomorrow with all her gear, luckily our self-contained outside room is just about clear of junk, she will enjoy having her own space.

Must fly, so much to do......Happy Monday everyone :)
