Here's Looking At You

Today we left Savannah GA where we had stayed at the Brice Hotel downtown.  I had some fun after coffee, taking a few interior photos.  The décor is interesting, something unusual at every turn.  But the views out to the interior patio were beautiful, especially the reflections of facing windows.

We headed back south towards Fort Lauderdale...hoping to get somewhere half way between Savannah and our town of departure.  We meandered up the coast and ended up in St. Augustine after stopping at Jekyll Island for some bird watching.  St. Augustine is such a fun city, and steeped with history.  We toured the old fort, enjoyed some wine and eats downtown, then went out for a lovely dinner...the best of the trip.  I'm loving all these lobster dinners (diet later)!!!
