Sneaking up on squirrels

Well, had hoped to see lots of little baby cygnets today, but the eggs are still the same. Ma and Pa were close by though. May have to cycle that way next week just to check up on them.

Had said yesterday that I hadn't yet seen may babies this year so was on the look out today. Saw quite a few and did catch a daddy and baby duck sitting by the rowing lake. Unfortunately there was a leaf in the way of baby so not that great a shot. Settled on an old favourite and wondered how close he would let me get - about 8 feet!!

Digging this morning at the allotment, cycling into town this afternoon, removing old hedge this evening - I am pooped!!
