Flowering beauty

Some time ago in fact on April 29 I blipped this flower bud. It is now approaching a metre long and has two side shoots. This a picture of the main stem. The flowers are so delicate, always a joy when this one flowers

Went out on the CTC 40 mile ride to Baston Garden Centre. Lovely route and some very pretty little lanes. We saw 3 deer (2 adults and 1 baby) who crossed the road in front of us, leaped the hedge and then ran across the field. Really gorgeous. We had a new chap with us so it was wonderful for him to see these graceful creatures. Really getting on with my new bike - the down hills aren't so scary any more!!
