I'm Not Fat....

...I'm just easy to see! 

I spent a lovely day with June Fox today, at the Ashridge Estate, near Tring. 

I spotted a herd of deer not too far away. The bucks were rutting, although not with any conviction and the sound carried through the woods. The does were in a separate group some distance away.  I got some photos but as Mr E pointed out, they're not exactly Wildlife Photographer of the Year stuff! 

It was very cold and so we had a bite to eat. June enticed this beautiful robin to the table by offering bread crumbs. He was very timid but sung so sweetly from the top of the tree.
