Golden halo

I came upon these back-lit sheep on Mt Pleasant this morning.  They stayed in this spot for minute or two, but then wandered off down the hill, so the silhouette effect was lost.  I find that even with familiar subjects, it is a good idea to have the camera ready at all times.  The unexpected occurs frequently, so a quick response is the difference between getting the shot and not.
