Almost out

I took a walk this afternoon to a little copse I know which normally has lovely patch of Winter Aconites at this time of year. There there were, bang on time, but not quite fully open yet. It is a wonderful combination of bright lemon yellow and intense green and normally beats its great rival for early spring joy-giving, the Lesser Celendine, by a few weeks.
