Busy day ...

I've had a long day in the office. The office building is beautiful; three five storey Georgian townhouses in Edinburgh's west end, all knocked into one. The big 'but' is that the meeting rooms are in the basement and I was in meetings from 1:00 till 6:15 pm. Rather closeted I feel.

This mess is the table at the end of a three hour meeting. Messy but productive. A kind colleague had remembered to buy gluten free treats for me. I ate with abandon.

During the day my brother in law was in touch. He's booked my flight to California in July. Sterling work to sort this out for me and I am very grateful. Very cheering to think of the Californian sunshine on a cold Edinburgh day
