Whilst my attention should be focussed on removing all the re-usable bits from the knackedbike in preparation for the arrival of the replacement frame it's highly likely that I'll succumb to the urge to swap the rear brake on the sparebike for something less inclined to slowly ratchet along the straddle wire, resulting in the driveside pad permanently nuzzling the rim, causing unwanted extra slowing (in addition to the slowing caused by the great weight, knobblyspike tyres, inefficient riding position) and making it less pleasant than it should be to go up sustained hills.
