Light and Shade

A day of sunshine and shadows in every sense.
The sun shone appealingly while we shopped and read the papers in a café nearby.
And no doubt I'll get over being talked out of my free slice of pizza at the newly opened Peter'sYard pizza café when His Lordship decided we weren't going to stand any longer in a queue with the student fraternity, labelling us all as 'scroungers'. I was quite happy to be a scrounger for one day if I could sample a slice of their pizza and not hand over any cash.
Still, I'm expecting a little more sunshine in my day when a friend pops in later.
Till then, I, like Tam O'Shanter's wife, will nurse my wrath to keep it warm!
