Faded Checkerboard

One of the many remnants of the 'Cold War' scattered around what used to be RAF Gaydon which was briefly a V-Bomber base in the pre-Polaris Cold War period.  What with the grey dreek weather today and having to take the photo quickly through a gap in the field boundary it felt like the cold war too.

400mm lens, handheld from inside the car. 1000iso  so a touch noisy.
