Hamamelis Flower.........

or more commonly known as Witch Hazel. Lovely bright spidery yellow flowers with a strong scent. Flowers in January and February and then the leaves appear.

Bit of a quick garden blip (again!!!) today as we have been out to a couple of garden centres and I am about to go to work shortly. 
We are thinking of turning the front garden bed into a rose bed underneath the bay window, so doing some research on rose varieties.

The shot above is in the front garden but further out and beside the low level wall to our next door neighbour.
