Backlit Reedbed - Bonus Bunting

Nice little sparrow-like female reed bunting swaying in the bitter wind this afternoon. She's probably checking out the males. She likes variety. Half of the chicks in her nest will not be fathered by her mate. She's quite into am dram too. If her family is threatened she will feign injury to divert the predator's attention.

Bunting is a term of endearment meaning 'plump'. She is a soft, round and plumptious little thing.
