Normal service ...

..is resumed, as the mist moved over the hills and a fine drizzle drifted intermittently in our faces. Gone the red sunsets, gone the white hills; instead the colours had a strange, blue filter look about them and even the road looked unnaturally blue and shiny in the greyness.

This land drain leads under the Ardyne shore road. Today there were no beasts in the fields; only great flocks of rooks (or whatever big black jobs fly around in hordes) and seagulls, with the odd clique of querulous oyster-catchers.
