We had another early start . . . to join 11,811 other folk at the start of the 2015 British Rugby League season.

Welcome again to the KC Lightstream Stadium for Hull Kingston Rovers v Leeds Rhinos. This was one of the best RL games I have been to – with Leeds eventually winning 40-30. However, HKR have many new players and were the best team for 60 minutes. Tough game . . . and a tough result in a game that is only for the tough.

Sporty Bit 1 . . . Manager of the Month curse did not affect Aitor and he steered Boro to yet another victory. More games to come very soon . . .

Sporty Bit 2 . . .  The route for the new Tour de Yorkshire cycle race takes in more areas of God’s Own  County – all are welcome to watch May 1-3.

Sporty Bit 3 . . . South Sydney Rabbitohs – that grand Australian RL team – have just passed the 30,000 members for the coming new season. I think that they are due in the UK soon for a Cup Competition. Rabbitohs are in the UK news because one of their Yorkshire players, Luke Burgess, has left under a cloud. Hope things settle down.
