Wye aye, ya canna beat this view pet...

After an agonising and sleepless night, poor Michelle spent the morning in the eye clinic at the nearby infirmary getting told her eye injury was really bad.  She spent the rest of the day in an eye patch in the darkened hotel room. 

I walked over to the Baltic Centre with the kids where this was shot.  Stunning building and gallery space.  I really don't get modern art though.  Corrie liked the giant rotating guerkin.

It was the first trip to Newcastle for all of us.  It won't be the last.  Great city, lovely people .. We'll be back in better circumstances.
