Bargain Hunt

Mrs W normally refers to buying plants at this sort of price as rescuing them.  This is because they are usually sad (even very sad) specimens at garden centres or DIY stores that are being 'got rid of ' and need nursing back to health!

We were introduced to this 'Factory Shop' by a friend.  They are one of the countries largest flower growers and importers, and sell off what must be surplus plants at extremely good prices. 

Orchids are one of Mrs W's passions, and at £5 a plant we had a job not to come back with a car full - actually she was very restrained and we only bought two in the end.  I expect you will see blips of them very shortly . . .
