One little determined squirrel

There weren't many birds at the bird buffet this morning, but there were plenty of squirrels...and least nine of them. This one in particular caught my attention because she decided to do battle with a wire cage that was on the ground not too far from my window. Inside the wire cage was a large seed cake. Meant for the woodpeckers that occasionally visit, the cake also attracts deer, and apparently the deer had visited the bird buffet last night and knocked it to the ground. For a long time, I watched this little squirrel struggle to get at the seeds inside the wire cage. She was one determined little squirrel.
