Derelict in parts

This late 18th Century house backs onto Cathedral Square in Fortrose. An elderly gentleman still lives in part of the house but the rest is in a poor state. It's been inspected and found that the roof showed 'considerable slippage', gutters and downpipes are decayed and leaking, there is rising damp and there's a  a hole in the roof that looks like it has become worse since the recent storms.  In November 2013 a dangerous building notice was served. It's such a shame as it's an interesting building looking over the ruins of Fortrose Cathedral. It is said that some of the houses have tunnels running to the Cathedral.

Another lovely day. I sat down at the harbour in the sun before my usual trip to the doctors. I'm taking new tablets now which means fortnightly bloods :(
