The Great 6D Bake Off!

Actually its all of KS2 (Upper School) and we were only decorating them! Its part of DT week and the kids had to design a cake within the theme of their current topic.  Judging took place this evening and one cake from each class will go into the school final. This will be chosen tomorrow morning. Ahhhh its been an day of fun, trying not to lick fingers, eat extra cake (without getting caught), tension, arguments and tears!  But I think they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  Whilst the kids cleaned up I plastered the remaining cake with the multicoloured butter icing and shared it out. It was a good day!
