Nom nom nom

We decided to make a Valentine's Day cake today. Little Miss wants to eat it all! Chocolate mud cake with Timtams around the side and lots of chocolate love hearts all around. We don't really 'do' Valentine's Day (although this is only our first as a married couple and our second overall), so this is my token offering, which we can all enjoy. Little Miss and I had heaps of fun decorating our cake, which we are keeping a secret from Mr Barking until after dinner.

All four of us for dinner tonight. A rare and welcome visit from Miss MB too. :-)

A storm is brewing outside and Cousteau is decidedly nervous. He's just hanging out near me and I'm ignoring his fear - he's never been scared of thunder before, but then it does seem a lot louder and lasts for longer here than it did in NZ.
