Carpet Ride To Carlsberg

As I mentioned in my Blip last Saturday, this bridge is carpeted. Thanks to fellow Copenhagen blipper Dennis (Copenhagen Dreaming), I now know that it is because the wooden planks that make up the surface get slippery. I also think it might be to protect said planks as it is over 100 years old. So there you are. The bridge goes over a road and some rail tracks, it links Carlsberg to the graveyard and the student accommodation - which always makes me smile. 

I tried to make the carpet the focus but it looks a bit like gravel here, ....oh well - take my word for it, it's carpeted. 

I might well make my way to a Carlsberg myself shortly - good weekend all.
