Truly Blippin' Marvelous

Triskaidekaphobia

Afraid of the number thirteen?  It's one of those words I always have to look up; it doesn't trip easily off the tongue.  Went out scouting possible pictures.  Only came back with this far away view of the Sunrise ski area with the sunlight glinting off the copper roof of the lodge at the top of Apache peak.  Don't do foolish things like making a wrong turn in the forest and getting stuck in snow.

And how do cats manage to hide in plain sight?  The little scamp Boodi was very noticeable by his absence.  We feared a he may have scampered out through the garage when I left the door open longer than usual coming in to the house.  We called and wandered around the outside of the house with flashlights (torches) calling him.  Hunted all his hidey-holes inside the house and he still didn't come.  He must have been playing hard earlier as we found him fast asleep in a favourite chair in the basement . . .
