To Brighten a Cold Day

Today it has been cold and grey for the opening march of the Cricket World Cup at least we didn't have rain. After all the wonderful weather we have had it is such a pity.

Last night we walked into the city and had a look around the ICC Cricket World Cup Fan Zone and Fan Trail there were not many people there and they had some good entertainment on and it was free! Situated at Victoria Square from 13-23 February, the Fanzone will be a hub for cricket fans of all ages and will be the starting point for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 New Zealand Fantrail that leads all the way to Hagley Oval

The Fanzone will feature something for everyone with live music, food and beverage stands, backyard cricket games, prize giveaways, family days, face-painting, cult-movies and live big-screen coverage of all the games from Hagley Oval.

My Hydrangea was really beautiful this year and now it is just starting to turn brown.
