Waiting

We waited for nearly an hour and a quarter today for J's appointment with the eye specialist.  An emergency had delayed things initially, then the receptionist mixed things up and sent in ahead of J the person who had an appointment after her, making our wait even longer.

In the end, the news was good.  Almost all the inflammation was gone, and the doctor didn't believe there would be any permanent damage - although it would take some time for full sight to return.  Her medication will now tail off sharply until our (hopefully) final appointment in two weeks' time.
