It's Grim Up North

By lynnfot

How many

men does it take to stand in a canal?

We took an eight mile stroll up the nearest section of the disused, unconnected, northern reaches of the Lancaster Canal. A research trip for future shots.

Saw many chickens, too many moor hens, one heron and two swans that had had their necks and heads bitten off. A sight I've never seen before. G suspected mink were the swan murderers.

Knees ache a little now. Dog is asleep. Final episodes of Spiral tonight, so will catch up with your journals later rather than sooner.
