Imagination needed - Cramond Roman Fort

The sun was bright but the haze was heavy and the tide was out so the small harbour at Cramond was not looking at its best, I therefore headed up the hill to the Roman Fort, which was peaceful but did leave an awful lot to the imagination.

The image is of the barracks wall of one of the most northern Roman outposts at the eastern end of the Antonine Wall build around 140 AD.
