Ironbridge

Another Sunday and almost exactly the same weather as  last week but without the sun that appeared later on exactly seven days ago.

Out on the bikes again and it  really helped after the night before.

We did near 40 miles on muddy, slippery roads but it was good fun and I desperately needed the exercise. We ended up at Ironbridge near Telford which is a national treasure.

The Ironbridge that spans over the River Severn is the first ever one built in the world. Constructed in 1779 and opened in 1781, it is a thing of beauty and still stands proud in the middle of this wonderful town.

I really have had another great weekend.
