Spring...

When I went out early this morning I had to wrap up against the frost. Scarf, gloves and woolly hat. When I return home after midday the sun had come out and first I lost the hat, then the gloves and then the scarf. For the first time this year I could feel the welcome heat of the sun on my face and neck. It felt like the first spring day of the year. Snowdrops and crocuses were in full bloom with the crocuses fully open with their flowers facing the sun.
