Sun rise

We have spent the last two nights on a 'rural retreat' on a small farm just outside the township of Dargaville (north west coast). Dargaville is well known for all the kumeras (sweet potatoes) it grows.
This morning l awoke to a perfectly magic scene of mist lying across the countryside as this photo shows.

We left Dargaville and the north this morning and travelled down through Auckland and out to the Coromandel peninsula where l spent a good part of my childhood - a home coming if you like and over the next 4 days l will introduce you to a few of my fav spots.
