Waiting their turn

The feeders in the garden seem to be very popular among the local bird population. As soon as two blue tits vacated the area, these sparrows all descended, squabbling among themselves as which would be first to have a go at the fat balls. They look as if they operate their own queuing system, on next door's apple tree!
