Dramatic

The more dramatic the sunset, the more picturesque the sky appears. Tonight's sky has all the qualities of cloud porting reflected colour from the
fading sun.
Yet within a few minutes, the failing daylight was changing the nature of the early evening sky. Clouds suddenly lost their rose-like glow and took on a much more menacing appearance.
Yet the forecast indicated clear skies through the night with temperatures falling to near zero, and the promise of sunshine throughout tomorrow and the temperature rising to around eight degrees.
I remember the old adage of "red sky at night" and the indication as the evening goes by is that it could well hold good of being "shepherd's delight" and the following day heralding fine weather.
The weather people are presently suggesting that sunshine tomorrow may well extend into Wednesday as well, although with a hint of cloud. Thursday? Heavy cloud and showers!
Had a Skype call yesterday with the family in the south of France. Little warmer there, but the totally blue sky picked out by the camera was enticing.
Maybe though I could learn to live with clear blue sky and predictable constant sunshine.  Sunsets would be equally as picturesque, maybe dramatic,  but I am sure  they would generate a much greater feeling of well being to my mind at least.
