Farmyard Fun

Glorious day today. This morning we went for a walk round the village with Ted's friend Robin and his mum. We ended up, as ever at Farmer Anthony's farmyard.

3 tractors, 1 telehandler, 1 landrover, and 1 enormous muddy puddle = 2 ecstatically happy boys! We wondered aloud why we ever bother paying to take them anywhere when there's free entertainment like this on the doorstep..?! Can you see how filthy their trousers are? There was some serious Peppa Pig muddy-puddle-splashing going on. Robin had waterproof trousers on, Ted didn't! Not that he cared of course, and it just meant a quick strip-down at the front door. It was just so lovely to be able to spend the day outside enjoying the sunshine.

We did some gardening in the afternoon, moving some snowdrops from our field into our garden. Ted was very helpful (he calls them 'no-bops'!) and was delighted at how pretty they look in the flowerbeds.

All that fresh air tired him out, he crashed at 7pm, luckily after a quick bath to wash off all the mud!
