Wood Duck Pair

From my daily journal - April 20, 2006

Started the day at ceramics class. Worked on my rhetorical piece, a sculpture of a person isolated from life by all the electronic connections. I made a person in a room with no windows and doors with a computer, TV, ipod and cell phone. Outside I'm putting trees, birds, etc., including two lovers. After class we all went to the Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary in Delta, BC. Arvin, Steve, Ian and me. It was overcast but bright. We saw lots of wood ducks up close and I to some great photos. We ate at a Japanese restaurant in Ladner. When we got home Ian went out with Kelly and Barbara came over for Dutch Hearts.
