Great Blue Heron

From my daily journal - April 17, 2006

Perfect day to go out with Ian. Because of the Canadian holiday we decided to stay local and went to Tenant Lake in Ferndale. We walked around the boardwalk, along side the fields to the farm and back. We saw a blue heron catch several fish and also some Cinnamon Teals and Northern Harriers. Made halibut for dinner and then went to the BCC rehearsal. I was tired so I didn't sing my best. But no matter. We got a lot done. This was a working rehearsal.
