Taylor River - Downtown

Early this morning the dog and I walked the Taylor River paths near our new home to the downtown area. Once again I visited the Raupo Cafe for coffee. Fergus waited patiently for me.
We have had some drama here with our house guests. My twin brother, John from Christchurch had to be admitted to Wairau Hospital last night. He had severe abdominal pain and is still in hospital tonight. A good place for him to be. He should be discharged tomorrow.
meanwhile Perkins the cat is getting used to our animals intruding in what she sees as her home. We are delighted at this developing animal harmony.
